Since we’re a start-up, we don’t have lots of cash to hand out to Contributors (yet). But we do have an awesome affiliate program that you can use to sell our Premium Newsletter. It normally pays 50% recurring commission on every Premium Newsletter subscription that comes through your special affiliate link.
But when you become a Contributor, we set you up with a higher commission of 75% on every Premium Newsletter subscription that is purchased through your affiliate link.
Of course, you have to be a Contributor AND an Affiliate.
So here’s what you do (in this order):
- Sign up to become an Affiliate. Go here to do that (Affiliate sign-up page will open in a new tab or window, depending on your browser). When you’re done, come back to this page.
- Request to become a Contributor by COMMENTING on this page. We will reach out to you at the email address you supply and do a bit of screening (writing samples and a few questions). We want to be sure that you’re a good fit for Slackerize. It’s that easy.
- Mention in the Comments that you have requested to become an Affiliate.
If we make you a Contributor, we’ll bump up your Affiliate commissions to the higher percentage.
As a Contributor and/or Affiliate, you are NOT an Employee; you are a self-employed entity (non-W2) and will have to keep track of your own tax information and all that that implies. Sorry for the not-so-fine print.
